#7453 Get stream name?

Posted by Gilbertb on 05 September 2012 - 06:15 PM

Hello,

I am using a CMS and want to use HDfvr with it. The CMS has a check in entry feature, ie you fill in text field with title, description, and custom fields (ie 'streamname') then his submit.

If I put HDfvr on that page, the user could record and re-record and each video would get its auto generated name until the user hits save.

Any chance you can suggest how I can use the API to fill in a text field on the page HDFVR is on when the user hits save, so the CMS will have a name to use?

Thanks!

#5099 What do you want in the next build

Posted by JLammi on 01 January 2012 - 04:36 AM

The same features requested for some time now!

Room Moderation Changes:
- Room creator becomes the 'admin' of created room. (Enabled / Disabled via avc_settings.php or integration.php)
- Room creator can delegate 'moderators' with limited administration settings. (Configured via avc_settings.php or integration.php)

Administration Changes:
- Adding additional administrators does not require a red5 restart.
- Preserving AVChat rooms does not require a red5 restart.
- Configuration variable to choose whether admins can be ignored or not. This is a requested feature by some members who are annoyed or do not get along with a few admins on my chat setup. It does seem bizarre, but if it isn't hard to code I would really like to give them the freedom to be able to block whoever they choose, myself included.

Style Changes:
- The default grey behind a users name in the userlist, as well as the mouseover color being a style.css controlled variable.
- The default grey behind the text entry / style (bold / italic / underline / font / youtube, etc) should be controlled via the style.css to allow chat owners styling customization relevant to their sites theme.
- The default blue borders around "Enter Chat" and "Send" (next to the chat entry box) should be controlled via the style.css as blue clashes with a lot of color themes (mine being green for example).
- The scrollbar backgrounds (userlist / chat) as well as the scrollbar itself should be controlled via a variable set in the style.css.
- Custom icon creation for each icon in the chat (Send gift, open profile, etc.)

Yes, this is quite a list. But beyond the moderation changes I don't imagine the styling changes would be overly difficult and would beautify the chat as well as help us separate our AVChat installations to the next one.

#9672 After the save button is pressed

Posted by Den68 on 25 February 2013 - 09:06 AM

After the save button is pressed is there a way to redirect to the saved Mp3 Location. Instead of allowing a download.

In other words can the download link be removed and the user be directed to a link like http://www.yoursite/...s/123456. mp 3
where as the 123456.mp3 will be the recording that just finished?

Or to redirect to a page with the filename....If I could simply get the filename it would do wonders for what I am trying to do.

#9633 Connection success, waiting for server...

Posted by tweekin on 24 February 2013 - 11:06 PM

Stuck there. I have the newest Wowza server 3.5.2 out there and just installed AVChat 2147. I see that it finds the server after entering in the username. But that's as far as it gets :(

#9373 new version?

Posted by edwardsmarkf on 21 February 2013 - 04:13 PM

hi - do we have a new release yet with the ability to suppress the native menu buttons?

while on the subject, what is the best way to tell what version of flvar we are currently using?

reason for change request: in some cases, you may not want users pressing the "save" button since you may need to handle that internally via jScript.

#6764 privates messages

Posted by Jesper on 06 July 2012 - 10:45 PM

still doesn't report the user is offline or resume using same pm as earlier....

this need to be fixed one or the other way, cause if you do a reload, the other person can sit and write to the "old" you and you don't get the messages.... and they don't get any warnings

#6557 New June build 1572

Posted by eon on 05 June 2012 - 11:24 PM

Here is a list of bugs and major criticisms of this release:

1. When 'clearAllRoomsScreensButtonShow' is set to '0', the EALL button is present and active. As far as I can tell, setting this to '0' is no different than setting this to '1'. Not a huge deal, as I only think I'd ever need to use option '1' or option '2', both of which appear to work normally.

2. The 'showWhoisBanKickInText' option seems to be broken for me. Even when I set this to '0', I see a 'kick' and 'ban' link next to each text message. (I set includeIPSInTextChatMessages to false in my avchat3.properties file, so I do not see the IP address or whois link.)

3. Good work on improving the function of private cams, but there are still two issues I see:

First, when a public cam is made private, those who are already viewing the stream will continue to view the stream without having to ask permission. This doesn't make sense to me. If I decide to switch my camera to private, I would expect that anyone who is viewing my stream will be stopped from viewing it and required to ask permission. If you were in a big chat room and had lots of viewers, it would be a big chore to individually stop streaming for each person who is viewing your cam when you decide to make your cam private. To make it easy, when a public cam is switched to private mode, a message could appear in the video window for each viewer that says something like, "This stream is now private. Click here to request permisson."

Second, the view request feature continues to be a potential source of harassment. If I request to view someone's private stream and they deny the request, I can simply request it again. And again. And again. And again. Even if the person running the stream decides to just ignore me by not clicking the 'Deny' link, I can close out their cam screen and request it again, and again, and again. Each time I do this, they will hear the cam request sound and get a notice in the chat room. This could be used to harass / annoy someone and none of the chat admins would even be able to see what is going on. I suggest that after a request to view a private stream is denied twice, future requests be ignored without notifying the person who is running the stream.

4. I really like the push-to-talk feature. In fact, this was a feature I requested many months ago, so I'm happy to see that it was finally included. However, I think the 'Push to talk' button is located in a bad place. Why put it directly over my cam window where it obstructs my view of my stream? I find this annoying and I'm sure others feel the same. If you want to put it near my video, why not make a little option bar directly below my video stream and put it there instead? While we're on the subject, let's do the same thing for the various controls on all of the video windows (full screen, mute, sound level, toggle video.) You have these controls obstructing part of the view on each video stream. Why? I've requested this before, and it seems to me there's a simple solution. Just make a little area (a small option bar) directly below each video stream where the controls can go so they don't have to obstruct the video.

5. Something that would make the push-to-talk feature even better would be the ability to assign a keyboard macro to control it. For instance, instead of clicking the push to talk button on my screen, I could just hold down the left CTRL key on my keyboard. Perhaps give the user a few different keys they could choose for this, or make it something we could configure in avc_settings.

Thanks for the update, there was a lot of improvement this time!

#6378 Private messages

Posted by lekica on 15 May 2012 - 04:46 PM

My first suggestion for Avchat :)

When you talk on private and got disconnected (reconnected) sometimes user got in confusion because they type on old nick (in that case suer who did reconect even with same nick WON'T receive that message until person who type open his window again). if they do that user that is reconnected will not get message until person with who he chat open his window again. I think it would be good if you can make that users who is reconnect can start chat without opening new chat window, or opening new chat window by user who did stay at chat (mostly them)

#6295 What do you want in the next build

Posted by eon on 10 May 2012 - 06:54 PM

By default AVChat assigns every user a random color (if there's no color stored in the cookies), but if you set $avconfig['toggleRandomColors']=0; in avc_settings.php the color used will be black.

What I'm saying is I'd like for a setting like $avconfig['UserDefaultColor'] = #FFF444. Then, based on integration with a database, I could give a certain default color to any user. Admins could have a certain default color. I could allow users to pick a color outside of the AVChat interface that would be stored in a database permanently. There are many uses for such controls.

Basically, instead of assinging the user a random color (if no color is stored in cookies), why not let me integrate with my database and decide what color to give to a user in such a case? We could also set default fonts and sizes. What I'm recommending here is per user, not a setting which changes the appearance of the whole chat.

#6191 New AVChat build 1505 (May build)

Posted by Jesper on 02 May 2012 - 10:03 AM

about bloking there are 2 things:
when a user is blocked, doesn't get any messages saying so on writing a message,
an user can still write an admin, eventhough blocked, minor problem though ;)

about private message off:
it still doesn't give the sender a msg about the private is off, so they newer know, the other part haven't seen it...

#4958 phpFox 3 RC3 Integration Kit Development for AVChat (beta version)

Posted by Stefan on 13 December 2011 - 11:35 AM

Hi there, My name is Stefan and from now on I will be handling the integrations for AVChat together with Mihai.

As I heard there are many people asking about an integration kit with the phpFox 3. And because we listen to our customers, here is a BETA version of the integration kit with phpFox 3.0.0RC3 . For the moment, there will be only the features from previous integrations, but over time and by your requests, we will work on making this product better. Please let me know if it's working for you and what bugs do you discover.
Please accept my apologies if it doesn't work as intended in the first place, but this still is in testing. And you could help me a lot if you could tell me what bugs do you discover.
Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
--
Stefan

Installation Guide:
  • Copy include and module folders (from avchat3_phpfox3.0.0rc3_beta.zip/upload) to the root of your phpFox 3 installation
  • Chmod the [your site]/module/avchat3/include/plugin/uploadedFiles folder to 777 (otherwise the upload function might not work)
  • Create a new folder tokens ([your site]/module/avchat3/include/plugin/tokens) and CHMOD it to 777 (otherwise we might have token generation issues later on)
  • Edit [your site]/module/avchat3/include/plugin/avc_settings.php in a text editor and set the value of
    $avconfig['connectionstring'] like this:
    $avconfig['connectionstring']='rtmp://myFMSserver.com/avchat30/_definst_';
  • Now login as admin in the phpFox 3 admin area
  • Go to Extensions->Product->Import Products and you will be prompted to install AVChat3 Plugin for phpFox3
  • Click on Install

DONE!!!
You will now find a link to the AVChat 3 Module for phpFox 3 in the main menu!

If you want to display who's in the video chat on your phpFox 3 web site follow the instructions on the AVChat Documentation page: http://avchat.net/su...entation/phpfox and follow instruction number 9

#4717 New AVChat build (October, 1365)

Posted by wolfks on 15 November 2011 - 09:56 AM

bugs that need a fast fix....
1: when privates are turned off, you get no msg says that this user doesn't accept privates

I have a suggestion for the developers.
Simplest Solution would: When User X activated "Ignore New Private Messages", then disable the link "Send Private Message" of User X in his Item Side Panel.

#12940 Problems with bad guys changing license in Red5 media server

Posted by Virgil on 17 January 2016 - 06:54 PM

Hi,

First try to reset your license key by deleting the license key file from your Red5 installation folder (http://avchat.net/su...ocumentation#26). Then add your license key in the avchat3.properties file (add the license key after licenseKey=). While there, you can also disallow access from localhost (set allowLocalhostConnections to false) and allow admin connection only from certain IP address.

#12607 Tutorial on How To Build a Paid Video Chat Membership Website with JomSocial,...

Posted by rajko on 30 July 2015 - 06:08 PM

Buna seara AVChat -Team,

first of all I want to thank you for your Time, spend in the System - Coding-Time could never be counted by money!!!  ;o)

Currently I am testing AVChat on Localhost and I am absolutly satisfied and I will buy your Chatsystem within next days.

I want to integrate AVChat PPV with Virtuemart, so users can buy points from me and pay chatroomowners by minute via credits (no doubt, I don't want to make another Creditcard-Pornsite! LOL).

Is it possible, that Chatroom-owners do not pay any fee (No PPV) and people who join are PPV?

Where do I find the Tables per User, where PPVAmount and PPVRatio are saved?

Any Suggestions how I could implement that?

Thankfully yours

Rajko

P.S.: If your interested in helping me, maybe via PM?

You guys ROCK! Keep on!!!
